A DNA of Community

I've been asked a few times how we will bring community to an events focused ministry, and I realized I've missed something in my explanations. Church @ The Hub is a vision of community entering into the gathering places, the events, and the communal places to reach the unreached and witness his grace.

This vision has three phases. First we build a launch team. These teammates serve the church and the community around them. We pray for our neighbors, learn their felt needs, and seek to help meet them. Next we gather for worship. We give God the glory and give him our praises. This gathering strives to keep God first in all we do, praising him, worshipping him, and giving our lives to him. As we meet with each other, we invite our neighbors to join us, growing the church and discipling new believers.

Third we will create a space for community to gather. This space will be open to all, member or not, and built around the idea of community, serving all who live in the area, not just those under one HOA. Into this space, Church @ The Hub brings community, which is core to our being, as God's family. We seek to love our neighbors well in this space, and show them what community is.

Throughout all the phases of our launch, community guides service, connection, and discipleship, with Jesus as our focus. To give him the glory and make his name known,
